Automated staining and quantification on tissues sections (mainly brain and spinal cord sections): brain lesion size determination, evaluation of immune response and dysfunctions (axonal transport, mitochondrial activity) in the central nervous system in several neurological diseases.

Cellular assays for compound screening for mitochondrial toxicity: ATP and metabolic activity quantification of the cells treated with compounds and growing in different type of media.

Characterization of a new spatio-temporally controlled knock-out mouse model of prostate cancer and study of the molecular mechanism underlying prostate cancer initiation and development: histological and molecular description of the prostate during the different stage of the cancer development. Development and validation of the laser-capture microdissection technique followed by an RNA extraction of prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.
