Builds and leads US Gastroeneterology Team. Owns, develops and implements the US medical strategy in Gastro for two pipeline compounds risankizumab (IL-23 inhibitor) and upadacitinib (JAK-1 inhibitor) and for adalimumab (TNFalpha blocker. Responsible for medical affairs in Emerging Markets across all therapeutic areas. Led 6 direct reports in Zurich and 4 Area Medical Heads in LATAM, South Asia, Russia/CIS, and META. Member of Global Medical Affairs and Emerging Markets Commercial Leadership Team. Managed product-related budget of $8 million.
