In order to obtain new tissue, plant ,or plant products, whole plant or plant parts such as cells, tissues and organs were cultured in sterile conditions and artificial nutrient media. Callus culture, embryo culture, autoclave use, medium preparation, ph measurement, explant sterilization, Elisa test, phenolic, flavonoid, and chlorophyll determination, plant species determination, chromosome counting, seed germination, OD measurement, bacteria cultivation, grafting techniques were learned.

Studies were carried out in the fields of Molecular and Cytogenetics in the Medical Genetics laboratory. In the molecular part, DNA-RNA isolations, PCR types, electrophoresis, and various genetic tests (CAL-R, BCR-ABL, JAK, MPL) were performed. In the cytogenetic part, FISH stages, FISH images examinations, peripheral smear process, karyotyping, and chromosomal examination procedures were performed. The use of NGS device, various isolation, and PCR devices was learned.
