As an Audit Manager I'm responsible for planning, organizing & execution of highly challenging audits (e.g., Hedging/Derivatives, Business Unit Management, etc) and could so far made significant contributions for the company in terms of savings realized and risks/damages prevented/avoided.

As a Head of Finance, Controlling & IT with 10 direct and 2 indirect reports I could successfully implement reporting processes for the overall Wintershall's activties in Russia (incl. macroeconomics) and contributed significantly in the setup of proper operations of several JV's in Russia (procurement, etc.)

As a Head of Finance & Admin at BASF's trading arm in the US (commodities) with 2 direct reports I was responsible for the setup of Finance, Controlling and Risk management processes. I have also successfully implemented SAP processing of trading transactions as well as other operational processes in the company. Furthermore, I led an optimization project within technical procurement at the BASF Corp, NJ together with McKinsey, which was successfully accomplished with significant savings realized.

As an internal auditor at BASF/Wintershall I organized & executed highly challenging audits (e.g., Hedging/Derivatives, Business Unit Management, etc) in the BASF Group and its Oil & Gas Division.
