Twitch is one of the largest video streaming networks in the world, which I help making sure we handle extremely large events for millions of viewers. My day to day job is all about improving the both the tech and the practices Twitch has for handling and executing large broadcasts with partners. I travel the world to the largest broadcast in order to guarantee that no matter what is required, we deliver a clean signal from the event to the viewer for a smooth experience.

Taking change of the IT Department was a new challenge that I enjoyed to bring it up to speed with the latest technology. Dealing with multiple problems, the Infrastructure is designed to be self-sufficient and very few points of failure. Working a new plan for early 2015 to advance our infrastructure to have no point of failure and the best quality for our clients.

Designing and executing the networking infrastructure for ESGN TV Studio (WiFi included) Offering and maintaining stream support for ESGN TV Broadcast Buying and building local servers (MySQL, NAS, OpenX, Stream Ingest, FTP) Providing support for offline events and meetings Offering general support within the office for employees (hardware and software related) Providing budgets for new solutions/applications Negotiating contracts with potential and existing solutions for the company
