As member of the TECNOMOD research group in the University of Murcia. My work involved the development of question-answering systems, using ontologies to represent the knowledge and the Wikipedia as knowledge-source.

Duties involved developing web applications in Java for the FFIS, a public foundation from the Region of Murcia related with medical training. I built a strong positive relation with the client, which gave me the opportunity to work with them again in the following year.

As research assistant of the TECNOMOD research group in the University of Murcia. Duties required developing of software for the group researchers. As a result of this experience, I decided to follow the academia career. I visited this research institute to learn novel technologies related with semantic web, in particular with Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities (SIOC).

The job entailed working with the Financial Module in SAP R/3, an ERP used by the Inland Revenue from the Region of Murcia (Spain). Duties required frequent interviews with civil servants to design and develop new applications to ease tax paperwork.
