Developed high level requirements for new and existing engine control features in accordance to inputs provided by different stakeholders. Benchmarked competitor's products and performed data analysis on various vehicle features to deliver competitive solutions. Composed test plans and enforced software robustness by performing Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, all the while managing test cases and requirements linkage in Requirements Traceability Matrices.

Authored and peer-reviewed software requirements implementation, software documentation, coding/code generation following AUTOSAR/MISRA standards, test plan creation and unit tests in C/C++ source codes as well as Matlab Simulink models. Supported the software development automation process by developing tools that decreased overhead workload on software documentation.

Defined and developed a friendly user interface in .NET Compact that assisted on-site engineers during inspections on rotating machines. The application performs an analysis in the frequency spectrum of vibration data received via Bluetooth and collected from acquisition board. It provides early maintenance scheduling and assures continuous operation. Project carried out in partnership with Petrobras. Toolset: MS Visual Studio, Matlab and Simulink.

The degree at its core has a broad view of telecommunications, electronics, power generation and control theory. Minor specialization had its focus on control theory. Final project: Development of Predictive Maintenance System based on Vibration Monitoring for Rotating Machines.
