Leading a team of 3 engineers. Responsible for development of Policy Builder, an application that automatically builds WAF policy according to client behavior. C++ design and hands on code writing.

Was responsible for Web Application Firewall project. Helped team leads and engineers solve technical issues. Coordinated activities of multinational developer groups located at different sites. Developed code for several projects in C++, Perl and Linux Shell as hands-on team leader and individually.

Managed a local software development center focused on development of the next generation of Internet Security Gateway. Established and lead a team of four software and one QA engineers. Took the team through the full cycle of software design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Applied scrum methodology and extreme programming. Performed from scratch design of network security gateway, implemented parts of the core code in C++ under Linux. Wrote Linux Kernel network device driver

Worked in the field of embedded networking. Developed BSP and network infrastructure for a 10G network DPI processing card, ported Linux to the card, performed board bring-up. Lead multinational matrix teams, worked as a system integrator. C and C++ under Linux were used. Was responsible for URL filtering implementation.

Developed software for real time/embedded wireless devices. Created generic wireless network stack: MAC layer – full development cycle from protocol definition to code writing in C, HAL layer - low level design (code was written by the other engineer).

Developed embedded software for CMTS and a satellite connected router (IP over DVB). Wrote "from the scratch" ultra-fast database engine in C++, DB interface library, DB utilities, boot up loader. Made improvements in CLI, SNMP agent, network card drivers. Studied Linux Kernel internals.

Created software for industrial machines performing automated lens quality control. The projects included GUI, image processing, digital camera and HW control via I/O card. Used MS C and C++ under Windows as the base languages. Lead a small group of developers.
