Accountable for HSE and compliance for about 3000m² biotechnological, chemical and physical labs for process development together with team of lab safety supervisors. Risk management of labs, equipment, experimental and other work in the labs, qualification of personnel and internal and external communication. Lab advancement focused on lab management digitization, HSE process optimization and excellent lab organisation (e.g. 5S-projects).

Research and process development including conceptual design, process engineering and operational excellence. Highlights: Redesign of HCl dosing unit during construction and commissioning (as part of a GMP-engineering project). Reactor work package in strategic full process development project for external life science company. Most advanced Fischer-Tropsch reactor model including product distribution, single pellet behavior and catalyst deactivation for an external petrochemical company (CES publication).

Energy check and management lead for chlorine production. Passing the EEG (German Renewable Energy Law) audit.

Doctor thesis on interfacial area of droplets using model-based experimental design, computational fluid dynamics, NMR spectroscopy.
