I served as Product Manager for Puppet's marketplace, the central hub for community-built modules spanning Open Source Puppet, Puppet Enterprise, and partner integrations. * Owned product strategy and roadmap for the marketplace and its content/modules ecosystem * Led globally distributed engineering teams based in the US, Belfast, and India, while working remotely from Germany. * Drove cross-regional alignment and stakeholder communication to keep distributed teams focused on a shared product vision

• Worked in Puppet’s Office of the CTO, advising enterprise customers on hybrid IT challenges. • Designed infrastructure automation solutions for complex, multi-region, and highly available environments. • Championed DevOps practices and collaboration between development and operations. • Partnered with Sales, Engineering, and Product to validate solutions and bring customer insights into the roadmap. • Co-authored "Patterns & Tactics" a field-proven knowledge base for architecture and operations.

• Built features for user management and new-hire onboarding workflows on Xpand’s global HR SaaS platform. • Developed partner integrations for background checks and payroll systems, plus APIs for external use. • Helped maintain high release quality through strong test coverage, code reviews and QA. • Contributed to a multi-tenant architecture supporting global enterprise customers across regions. • Helped deliver the platform for customers including Uber, Thomson Reuters and Allianz.

• Served as Technical Architect for Contentful customers across the Nordics and Benelux. • Assessed requirements and quality attributes, reviewed architectures, and advised on content modeling, SDKs, tools, and best practices. • Delivered on-site solutions, training, and workshops with cross-functional teams. • Applied Domain-Driven Design to understand customer domains and improve recommendations. • Turned this approach into material presented at O’Reilly Software Architecture Conf. In San Jose and Berlin.

• Joined BlueKite as Backend Engineer, building cross-border bill payment integrations and internal tooling across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. • Continued through Xoom’s acquisition, integrating BlueKite and Xoom systems into a unified sign-up, sign-in, and service platform. • Progressed to Tech Lead on Xoom’s Bill Pay Platform, driving backend development, platform evolution and technical hiring. • Supported the transition through Xoom’s acquisition by PayPal.

• Co-founded Browsy & led technical development, making Pinterest pins shoppable before Pinterest introduced its native shopping feature • Developed a product-identification algorithm based on ML and image-source recognition • Built the Ruby REST API and AngularJS web application • Designed the AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, and SQS, with Vagrant and Puppet for development and provisioning • Mentored an engineering intern on product goals, methods, and tools • Participated in Dreamit Ventures NYC 2014
