As district visual merchandiser it was my job to train the staff in the shops to use the tools of facts and figures provided by the head office and the computer system in such a way that the right goods were always in the right place in order to sell as much as possible.

The Mango store I was manager of, was a so-called thermometre store, i.e. a kind of test store. As a result, there was a great emphasis on working with sales figures and continuously undertaking action based on those figures, such as ordering extra of the bestsellers, daily changes in the shop's presentations, applying active selling techniques. Additionally, I provided a weekly trend report to the head office. Moreover, I performed all the tasks that are part of the store manager's job.

As a store manager at Ardenberg, I was responsible for the day-to-day management of my stores. This included staff management, visual merchandising and sales.
