-Developed and supervised the laboratory of diagnostic pathology where various animal tissue samples are processed and analysed for the diagnosis of ruminants, swine and wild animal diseases.

Instructor of the upper division courses General Pathology, Special Veterinary Pathology and Diagnostic Veterinary Pathology, with 50 students. Lectured, supervised one teaching assistant, advised students, wrote exams and oversaw students’ group project. Designed laboratory material for the courses of General Pathology and Diagnostic Veterinary Pathology.

Scientific consultant for the surveillance of the Mediterranean monk seal Monachus monachus in the marine protected area and for the implementation of protection programms. Diagnosed and treated wild animals suffering from injuries

Assistant Professor of the course Experimental Animals. Lectured the pathology experimental animal diseases and designed a variety of experimental animal models.

-Inspected the hygiene in slaughterhouses, cutting plants, factories and cold stores. -Examined animal welfare conditions, inspected live animals for any sign of disease and carried out post the mortem examinations on diseased animals. - Recorded the findings of the inspections and recommended the appropriate improvements and corrective procedures. -Sampled the appropriate animal tissues and products for the National Control Program of Residues.

Attendance of a seminar about the appliance of PCR for the identification of various Campylobacter species and developed a working knowledge of the method

Short mission course on applying immunohistochemistry for the identification of specific inflammatory cells on mouse lung tissue and developed comfort working with the laboratory instruments and equipment for the procedure of microarrays
