I was responsible for the implementation of clustering models and techniques for the segmentation of patients according to symptoms and observations present in the patients’ records. Through the use of pre-processing tools, outlier detection, missing data treatment, and multicollinearity analysis based on LASSO and Cox regressions I was able to successfully develop a solution that enabled the San Carlos Clinical Hospital to improve similarity-based grouping of their patients with improved accuracy.

I was involved in a project aimed at measuring the general population’s perception of security in the city. My tasks included designing questionnairy, selecting an optimal sampling strategy, and carrying out interviews with the selected sample. I then used data visualization techniques with SPSS to interpret the results, culminating in a written report of the findings and conclusions that were used as an input by the Police Department to adjust their strategies.
