Service: Laboratories My role involved conducting haematological and serological analyses of donor blood samples to determine infection status and ensure diagnosis and follow-up in the in-house haematological malignancy clinic.

Service: Blood collection, storage, preparation and distribution My day-to-day work involved collecting blood from donors, transporting samples for analysis and separating bags of blood into whole blood, plasma, platelet concentrate and red blood cell concentrate. Label the bags before storage to ensure tracking.

Service: Medical analysis laboratories Blood sample collection. Routine analyses such as blood grouping, biochemical and serological analyses.
