Engineer for the Center of Competence Support platform Engineers on questions to Exterior Lighting regulations and design best practices. Re-write exterior lighting specifications. Maintain LPP cost charts of all exterior lighting products. Monitor warranty on all Exterior Lighting Components and work on projects to reduce warranty. Represent Chrysler at the USCAR Lighting Task Force. Certification as a SHAININ Green Belt.

Responsible Product Engineer for the 06 LX Dodge Sedan Forward Lighting and Cross Platform Side Repeater. Worked with suppliers, design office and interfacing product engineers to meet vehicle, system and timing requirements. On time launch of the forward lighting with none fastener attachment method to meet legal bumper impact requirements. Support for other lighting engineers and platforms with exterior lighting related questions and legal requirements.

Located at the GM Tech Center. Design release responsible for the future Grand Am Head Lamp. Main customer interface for Styling, Engineering and Packaging questions. Working with the Pendleton/Headquarter based design team to meet program timing, GM design and legal requirements.

Assigned to the Hummer H2 Program Exterior Lighting at GM Truck Engineering. Defining the packaging and requirements for the Exterior Lighting. Working with suppliers and interfacing design release engineers to meet vehicle, system and timing requirements. Supporting the GM manufacturing engineering during prototype build phases and assembly processing optimization during production launch. Starting 04/01 additional responsibility for the Wiper/Washer System.

Project lead responsible for the Saturn LS and LW Rear Lighting and Cadillac CTS Neon CHMSL with License Pocket. Working with customer, suppliers, manufacturing engineer and internal designer to find competitive solutions, designs, develop processes and bring the part into production. Supporting sales and purchasing to keep the project within the cost targets. Successful launch of the Saturn Lighting. Implementation of new neon technology into automotive lighting.

Technical contact for the customer Opel. Coordinating between customer, development departments and sales. Technical support for sales in preparing quotes. Project Lead for Opel Astra Exterior Mirror and Saturn LS and LW Rear Lighting.
