I supported the non-governmental partner organisation of BORDA which is called YEDI (Yunnan Environmental Development Institute) in Yunnan, China by writing a CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) Proposal. We work on a Feasibility Study for CDM-financed Bagasse Cogeneration and Wastewater Treatment Plants for Yunnan's biggest sugarcane industry.

I worked in the project management team at Bilfinger Berger Environmental Technology (Passavant-Roediger GmbH) as a student trainee for 3 months. Optimizing the biogas proposal for the sludge digestion system of a wastewater treatment plant in Shanghai was the main output. I interacted with clients and suppliers in order to find technical solutions for the gas system.

I worked as a delegate of System S&P for maintaining a Rotating Biological Contactors (RBC) pilot plant in Delhi, India. I was responsible for optimizing the energy supply of the RBC due to problems with the solar panel, battery and rectifier. I researched on water load, biofilm growth and slow sand filter. Organizing a national workshop sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Germany and being the mediator between professors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and my German company completed my work.

I worked as a student trainee for EnBW Trading GmbH in Karlsruhe, Germany for 3 months. My research on climate change according to the IPCC Report 2007 was summarized in a report about the cooling system of new power plants due to the increase of the Rhine water temperature. I was working with Energy Demand Models and database systems.
