The project is mainly about building and making use of a pump-probe setup. With this setup, the spectra of different materials, such as GaAs, Ca2RuO4, Ta2NiS5,..., are successfully observed. Next, some samples will be cooled down to their critical temperature to study the phase transition and order parameters.
