BIBA is an engineering institute that develops technical and organisational solutions. Acting as an interface between science and industry, BIBA fosters cooperations and partnerships with more than 400 institutes, universities and enterprises worldwide. My main achievements here comprise the collaborative design, planning and implementation of interdisciplinary and international research projects.

LabTrans is a research organisation that provides solutions for public and private sectors especially in the fields of logistic/transport planning and information systems. My main achievements were: establishment of a brand-new research and consulting direction; planning of new projects, including team coordination, scheduling, budgeting and negotiation (approximately 70% of effectiveness, from project proposal to contract signature); and, successful execution of several research and consulting projects.

Vega do Sul is a state-of-art lamination plant that supplies steel to South American automotive and appliances market. I coordinated a team of consultants and external specialists designated to the mission of planning logistics for this industrial plant. Our team main challenges comprised: intermodal logistic design, planning and implementation; logistic strategic planning (budget planned: USD 30 mi / year); and, logistic execution for market creation phase (budget USD 10 mi / year).

Business Unit Curitiba is a state-of-art plant in southern Brazil that supplies automobiles to European, South and North American markets. I took part in this greenfield project since construction phase till full capacity completion. My main activities and responsibilities were: planning e implementation of logistic process in production areas: Press Shop, Body Shop, Paint Shop and Assembly Line; and, supply chain planning and implementation: JIT - Just in Time, JIS - Just in Sequence and Global Sourcing.

Interdisciplinary investigation and approaches for improving the effectiveness and sustainability of global supply chains, with special focus on interfaces along logistic systems (e.g. the role of logistic services providers, methods for overcoming national/organisational/functional barriers).
