The New Colonist (www.newcolonist.com) is a collaboration between myself and Rick Risemberg, an LA-based photographer, writer and web designer. It contains a blog and archive of articles about city life. Don't forget to join our group on LinkedIn!

Create publications for distribution with McGraw-Hill Construction and elsewhere. Manage communication for clients including associations and contractors. Create articles and layouts for publications relating to the building, architecture, construction and engineering industries. Report on building industry events. Topics include MWBE issues, sustainability, LEED, green building, planning and more. Duties also include public relations, media relations and client-service work.

Represented home-buyer and investor clients, as well as bought and sold properties. Created a web site, did online marketing, hosted open houses, and worked to promote living in Pittsburgh's urban neighborhoods.

Wrote and distributed news stories and news letters to members of IBA West. Worked to make sure the Idependent Agent and Broker message was well represented in the media. Managed the process of transitioning of fax broadcast and paper documents to web and email.
