- Provide design ownership for assigned engine hardware including the engineering support of manufacturing and field issues as well as the technical interface with other functions. - Conduct Engineering calculations according to the GE Design Practices in support of engine certifications and qualifications, design optimization to meet life goals, failure investigations and test capability assessment of engine hardware for both spin pit and factory engine tests.

- Design of machining process. The preparation of engineering documents for new products. - Searching manufacturability and feasibility. Determining the requirements of cutting tools, gauges, apparatus and measurement instruments for the manufacturing of new products. - Preparation of machining programs using CAM. Testing of new cutting tools. Designing gauges and apparatus. - The control of process design at the manufacturing lines and making corrections if necessary.

- Component engineer for fuel injection systems. Design and testing of fuel injection equipment system. Controling of validation tests. - Responsible for design and development of the systems and components from concept phase to final product phase. Uses state of art CAD/CAE tools, develops Product Development processes, core foundation documents, knowledge base for the systems and components of responsible diesel engines.
