Über mich
Ernst Henle leads a global data science team at HCL Technologies whose members specialize in IoT, image analytics, and predictive maintenance. Henle has over twenty years of experience in mathematical modeling, algorithm development, and predictive analytics. His PhD is in biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley where he created software and mathematical models to explain his experimental results. Henle left academia to join Silicon Valley startups where he developed algorithms in image analysis and bioinformatics for Roche and Pfizer. At Merck and Microsoft he devised predictive models for hospital informatics, drug discovery, transportation, real estate investments, predictive maintenance, and literature search. Henle was the principal technical program manager and principal data scientist for the first cloud-based predictive analytics platform. Henle teaches data science at the University of Washington and has a Google scholar I10/H-index of 13.
