The target of the Director Scouting role is to explore & exploit the “White Space” - i.e. scout - for new and possibly disruptive ideas, technologies and innovative business models. These will provide a new value contribution to the future business. For this, I do establish, maintain and expand networks with current and new, potential partners. These are from industry and associations, research, from suppliers and of course interesting start-ups.

My teams and I are responsible for development and use implementation of all Pressure Sensitive Adhesive technologies for Lohmann's Tapes businesses.

Ph.D. level polymer chemist with 22+ years of experience in the polymer / plastics and adhesive industry, with deep expertise in application development and formulation / system design. Well known in, and well-acquainted with, the industry. Recognised subject matter expert, many times presenter and chair at international conferences in EU, US and China. High-energy, fast, outside-the-fence thinker, unconventional, differentiating. I know who the real customer is. And who is the one eating our lunch...
