As an EOR analyst, I have been involved in all the steps related to the design and performance evaluation of chemical EOR formulas. Compatibility test, phase behavior, interfacial tension measurements, solution’s rheological behavior, polymer stability, porous media wettability, core flooding experiments, chemical adsorption and chemical analysis including method development (titration, HPLC, GPC, UV-Vis) are some of the daily task I have in this position.

I worked on projects where surfactant formulations were used for multiple applications. The main activities I were involved in were: synthesis of anionic extended surfactants; characterization of surfactants by cloud point analysis, determination of critical micellar concentration and phase behavior studies; formulation of macro, micro and nanoemulsions, considering its physicochemical variables; evaluation of interfacial and superficial properties of immiscible liquids.
