As a Design Technician I was incharge of dealing directly with our many clients and taking their requirements for Steel reinforced security door systems. Using AutoCAD I would generate drawings for small to large scale projects, working from generated quotes and detailed specifications. As a Design Technician at Cardea I have managed and completed projects for many big names such as; Apple, Warner bros, Fenchurch St.

This position consisted of me managing a documentation system known as Mercury/Advantum. The documents were used for sites & facilites management projects and I would be acting as support for Project managers who would be conducting these projects. Organising meetings with PMs, generating a documentation list requirement for the project, compiling/editing, old/new drawings using AutoCAD MAP were main parts of the job role.

The position of CAD-Operator required me to do basic 2D to Advanced 3D drawings of the company's bespoke products using AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor, examples of the products were; double glazed windows, stair nosings, cavity fillers and various other internal parts of buildings. This position also required me to keep constant communication with our clients from concenpt to completion, giving the best possible service and ensuring they recieve the perfect end product.
