New start, new challenge, let's have some fun.

After being relocated to our office in Munich, I have the chance to work with teams located in different places around the world. I coordinate and lead development efforts, promote new concepts and set technical standards of our international customer projects. In order to keep a good communication with members and managers from different locations, team virtual meetups and online project meetings become indispensable in my daily work.

As our development team grows, I’ve been promoted as software architect to take responsibility for integrating different corporate APIs, providing guidelines for the consistency of our solutions and levering code quality in our projects. While actively participating in development, I also push the team being open for new things and new way of work. Since that time I started to promote Scrum in the team and we benefit more and more from it through the time.

As a newborn development team, we've worked together to build up libraries, tools and processes. I've been involved particularly on designing our corporate libraries and tools. For our customers, we've worked closely with our account/project managers, business analysts to deliver value-added solutions including: CRM-ERP integration, custom add-on/tools for CRM, rich interface web application and data migration facility. Where I, as a technical lead, was responsible for the underlying technical design.

Employee at an IT services company, I've been able to work on a large variety of software projects, in which my roles were diverse. As a software developer, I participate to contributing high quality codes and take the initiative to making local design decisions; As a technical consultant, I provide advices and feasible solutions to meet customers’ expectations; As a QA developer, I submit tools and solutions for the good conduction of projects’ test activities & quality measurements.

Mission at an online gambling social networking startup. I was in charge of implementing web services and AJAX based data widgets for the online gambling quotes searching & comparison portal.

Mission at a global navigation service provider. On its navigation product for mobile devices, I've been assigned the task of adding new UIs and improving UX by optimizing data communication and storage. Maximizing the efficiency and the UX of the product was the most critical part of this project, and it was also the core focus of my mission there.

Mission at a cloud e-marketing solution provider. I worked on the back-end part of its real time campaign & e-marketing platform. The main task for me was designing and implementing the mission critical data access layer to provide guidelines for further product evolution. Massive code refactoring and performance optimization are our principal challenges at work.

Full-time internship at the largest french telecommunication company, worked on the services stack for a mobile prepaid solution. Real world practice in the end-to-end sequential development process (aka. Waterfall model). I've developed my skills for software design, predictable decision making, technical documentations/specifications writing and UML diagrams. It has an important influence in my thoughts on what the development process and architecture means to a software project.

Part-time internship at a web site agency. I had the chance to work on a variety of web site projects, including e-commerce, company portfolio, CMS etc. I was developing back-end services and creating interactive front-end contents for our customers. It was a good experience of team work with UX analyst and graphic designers.

Part-time internship at a network software startup. My mission was designing marketing materials and developing a new web site for its product, a P2P recruiting network. It was the very first time I worked on designing and building up from scratch a real world web site, in which I experienced my graphic design sense while improving my forming web development skills.
