Lastmanagement system firmware development

Saba Energy is the R&D partner of Kerman Tablo (my previous employer) in developing and supporting the SCADA and RTU systems. I participate in multiple development projects, in which we improved or added protocols like IEC 60870-5-101/104, TASE.2, DNP 3.0, OPC UA, etc. Besides, we developed RESTful web services and clients in order to support a wide range of other features in SCADA. We also run security and functionality tests on various systems and generate verification documents.

In this role, I was the R&D team supervisor. Our team was responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting software components of DCS and SCADA systems. During this time, I had been participating in various developments such as HART configuration system, asset management system, plant information management system including historian and event loggers.

In this role, I had to develop some components in the controller, which is an embedded system. I had worked on alarm/event handling system, communication protocol the messaging part. Also, I have developed the OPC server and client modules. I had participated in developing logic solver for FBD and SFC logics. I had also participated in developing Modbus protocol implementation including redundancy between redundant CPUs.

My role was debugging, developing and supporting the software components of SCADA system. Mostly I had to fix bugs that customers had reported in protocol management module. This module supports various industrial protocols such as IEC 101, IEC 104, DNP 3, Modbus, OPC as a client, and some elder protocols such as Indactic.
