I am lead the development of the BitGood smartphone app (bitgood.it). Bitgood helps companies who want to track and certify the cycle of food leftovers donations (circular economy). It uses a blockchain backend to transparently certify all the data. Collaboration is ongoing.

Public Policy (www.publicpolicy.it) is an Italian politics news agency. I supervised the development of the core IT infrastructure: database, editorial system, web app, mobile apps. The collaboration is ongoing.

Co-Founded Spidchan a startup working in the field of blockchain based digital identity. I was the CTO. We did work using both Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains.

I developed algorithms to process automotive data: route analysis, driver behaviour, vehicle monitoring. I also wrote backend and frontend code for the apps we developed.

I investigated genome scaling laws in Bacteria and virus, and developed a Bayesian model to infer genome lengths from Metagenomic datasets. I was also teaching assistant for the course "Quantitative reasoning", on Bayesian probability as extended logic.

I worked the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics under the supervision of P. F. Arndt. I researched Markov models of molecular evolution, investigating the role of the CpG decay process and its interaction with the evolution to equilibrium of DNA sequences.
