JML Group Japan is a Japan-based market entry and compliance firm supporting international companies entering the Japanese market. JML provides end-to-end support across regulatory compliance, import procedures, product documentation, localization, and go-to-market execution. Acting as a de facto local branch, JML works closely with exporters, buyers, and institutions to reduce risk, shorten time-to-market, and enable compliant commercial operations from day one.

Served in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps (Korps Mariniers) from 2008–2016. As with all Marines, infantry training and operational readiness were primary, with additional responsibilities in logistics and operations. Worked across infantry and support functions, including transport, equipment management, planning, and team coordination, including Caribbean deployments. Operated under strict discipline, security, and compliance requirements in high-pressure environments.

As a graduate of Fukuoka Foreign Language College, I received a comprehensive education that included standard lessons, JLPT and EJU preparation, and cultural activities throughout the year. Thanks to FFLC's rigorous curriculum and dedicated instructors, I was able to increase my Japanese fluency to an intermediate level of daily conversation in three months.

As a graduate of ROC Mondriaan in The Hague, I completed the Vrede en Veiligheid (Peace and Safety) course, which prepared me for future service within the military. This course equipped me with essential skills in navigation, communication, and leadership, which have been invaluable in both my personal and professional life.
