Full responsibility on Operations for Men’s Shirts and Women’s Blouses, Direct management of four departments (Purchasing Fabric, Purchasing Trimmings, Production Planning, SAP Special Projects&Tasks), in order to procure more than 5 million units/year Evaluation/Selection of international suppliers and producers, contracts, relations with own factories and inter-companies/subsidiaries, Supply Chain Network strategic development, Business optimization (Sub-contracting VS. Merchandize)

Full responsibility on production planning and allocation for Men’s Shirts and Women’s Blouses Long/medium/short-term planning, from order issuing to final goods receipt in warehouses Relations/Selection of international producers and own factories, production capacity allocation, production price negotiation, invoice checking and posting Reporting on delivery performance, organization of salesman sample production Key-User for SAP R3 AFS implementation, MM module

Management/Selection of all forwarding agents and logistic partners for handling of raw material and finished goods (all main product groups), and for worldwide distribution from warehouses to subsidiaries and customers (shirt and tie) Set-up and optimization of all transportation flows for all new products Negotiation and worldwide agreements on shipping rates, relation with Transport Dept. at the HQ in Germany Drawing up of all shipping routines in cooperation with I/E

Management of a warehouse for raw material and finished goods in Italy, optimization of flows and costs, planning of infrastructures and handling systems Analysis and reporting system set-up on complexity, ABC, SKU, stock rotation Project Leader on new finished goods warehouse in Germany: research of location/building, planning of storage & handling systems, data interface between warehouse and management system, layout & picking cycles optimization, forecast future capacity, throughput, feasibility study

Logistics and Production Planning for home and hotel textiles Interface role between commercial offices and productive areas (purchase, external producers, internal weaving), reporting on performance and deliveries Management of raw material and finished goods warehouse, special projects (space reorganization and development of a simple software to check stock availability and get quick logistic reports)
