I analysed local waste management strategies to formulate efficient, effective municipal waste collection and disposal plans, ensuring spatial database (DB) alignment with corporate standards and regulatory compliance goals. This included refining raw geographical and project data, and running statistical and spatial analyses for management. I implemented environmental multi-temporal and predictive maps involving multiple geographic datasets (urban, technical and business).

GIS spatial analysis for aerial imagery and survey data integration and processing. Water and soil sampling for groundwater investigations and contamination assessments. Collation of desk based geological studies and integration of geotechnical and geophysical data for geomorphological risk assessment. Geo-structural and geo-mechanical data processing for rock slope stability analysis.

Land and groundwater remediation - waste and wastewater biotreatment. Collection, analysis and processing of environmental parameters needed for the design of on site remediation of of soil and groundwater contaminated by hydrocarbons, PAHs, organochlorine compounds, PCBs and other persistent organic pollutants (POPs). Biological treatment of wastewater (civil, industrial and agro-zootechnical). Bioremediation of complex ecosystems.

I completed a ten month Internship program, learning hands-on application of Applied and Environmental Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, and Geostatics methodologies, including soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring.
