Ensure technical-scientific knowledge for every member of the Geomechanics and Wellbore Stability Group. Demand administrative responsibility and training plan for the staff (courses, field assignments, software acquisition and training, etc.). Lead and deliver technical consultancy and research projects to the different operational divisions of PDVSA E&P. Instructor of the course titled “Geomechanics applied to the Oil Industry” (more than 300 participants in 14 Sessions).

In charge of conducting research and analysis related to in situ stresses constrains, pore pressure (origin, prediction and quantification), collapse pressure (models and rock failure criteria), uncertainty on wellbore stability models and constitutive models of rock to understand the fundamentals issues of wellbore failure in complex formations.

Provide technical consulting, lead and deliver projects in PDVSA E&P West and East Divisions (Onshore and Offshore, exploratory and development fields) to reduce drilling risks and optimise reservoir production based on wellbore stability analysis and geomechanical solutions.

Mechanical Engineer of the Technical Department in charge of designing and executing the maintenance plans for the telescopes, domes and equipment belonging to the National Astronomical Observatory. Responsibilities also included the design and manufacture of the parts required for the proper functioning of the Observatory.
