I am heading the Architecture Office for Planning in SAP HANA Database & Analytics | Planning & Analytics. In this role I am responsible for architecture concepts, architectural alignment and guidance within the area of Planning, the transfer of emerging technology into Planning as well as stakeholder management across areas and cross-functions.

I am working on enabling collaborative enterprise planning in SAP Analytics Cloud. Specifically, I am responsible for software architecture and innovation of Advanced Planning which comprises Ad-hoc Planning, Data Actions, Data Locking, Structured Allocation, and the Value Driver Tree.

I am currently responsible team architect of a development team for SAP Business Objects Cloud.

Full-stack developer for SAP Cloud for Analytics. Moreover, I delivered on architectural tasks for application components.

As research associate I was working in the area of complex event processing systems. My main research interest were selective replication techniques to achieve fault tolerance in such systems. Moreover, I contributed to an automatic stream partitioning functionality for the SAP Sybase Event Stream Processor (ESP).

In my diploma thesis I proposed a reusable awareness infrastructure promoting an accelerated, cost-efficient development of awareness widgets, as well as a non-invasive integration of awareness support into existing web applications. To validate the approach, I described the integration of six developed awareness widgets in four collaborative web editors. Moreover, I conducted a user study to validate the quality of the awareness support and discussed limitations of the devised awareness infrastructure.

During my minor thesis I investigated the use of annotations to enrich mature web application libraries and frameworks with concurrency control services to finally allow for real-time collaborative web applications. Besides creating a collaboration engine implementation a study with developers was conducted. The study results expose that the effort to incorporate collaboration capabilities into a web application can be reduced by up to 40 percent using an annotation-based solution.

Working in the area of real-time collaboration in the web, I contributed an extended text support to SAP's operational transformation library SAP Gravity. Moreover, I built in WebSocket support to improve the latency when transferring synchronization information between clients.

Working at the chair of computer networks at Technical University Dresden I made several contributions to MapBiquitous, a system for indoor positioning and navigation. Moreover, I was involved in the creation of lectures and practical courses for students.
