Responsible for content sourcing and distribution of Digital Entertainment for the Wireless Inflight Entertainment. Supporting clients and content providers for video specifications, encoding formats supporting different OTT Platforms. Worked on proof of concept for DRM in AIRFI platform.

- Developed Linux based software that packetizes MPEG-2 Transport streams and outputs to different OTT formats like HLS, DASH, MSS, RTMP and UDP. - Worked with advanced codecs like H264, HEVC, 4K and AAC. Includes encoding, transcoding, uploading and monitoring content to multiple CDN according to customer needs. - Worked on DVB-Simulcrypt headend architecture that incudes scrambling/descrambling of data stream. - Developed shockwave plugin for accessing authenticated contents.

- Designing real time architecture to broadcast live multimedia contents to multiple user equipments over LTE-MBMS network.The model combines segmentation, transcoding and adaptive HTTP live streaming that provides unified platform for all streaming needs. - Model composes of FLUTE protocol that transmits the contents over real time LTE simulator which is then distributed to multiple users.Delivers the highest quality video anytime, anywhere across multiple viewing devices with unmatched compression .

My Master thesis topic “File Based Delivery over LTE based MBMS” is a contribution to 3GPP standardization activities. An extensive device based performance evaluation of RaptorQ FEC codes over Raptor codes was carried out in a representative device like Samsung Galaxy-SII with Android OS for testing performance of Application Layer FEC on mobile devices in terms of Decoding speed, Latency and Memory.
