1. For the European XFEL and FLASH linear accelerators, finding optimal PI parameters for PI Controller of Laser-based synchronization system. 2. Identify plant dynamics, especially the intensity and frequency of the laser oscillator, which is time-variant using a laboratory test stand. 3. Design an advanced model-based controller using H2-norm to minimize the total integrated jitter of the LbSync system and increase the CL BW. Tools: MATLAB - Control system designer toolbox, Simulink.

1.Finding optimal PI parameters for heuristically tuned PI controller which synchronizes the mode-locked laser oscillator in the optical synchronization system for the European XFEL and FLASH linear accelerators (Control System Designer toolbox - MATLAB) 2.Identification of plant dynamics of the mode-locked laser with the setup of identification test-stand which includes vector signal analyzer, Piezoelectric actuator, RF Counter, Laser oscillator in lab and modeling in SIMULINK

My responsibilities include- 1. FEM simulations for sheet metal forming with the Abaqus software. 2. Production of samples and laser cutting of semi-finished products for sheet metal forming by laser ablation. 3. Carrying out sheet metal forming experiments and wear analysis using a confocal microscope. 4. Evaluation of test data and documentation of results. Tools- Abaqus, Solidworks

-Preparation of technical design documents like FDS, datasheets, cable schedule, EPLAN, BOM, Hook-ups, Control schematics for Oil & Gas, Energy projects. -Installation, testing troubleshooting & commissioning support for PLC Systems (Siemens with TIA portal), and other field instruments. -Undertaken an inspection of instruments with OEM for quality approvals, evaluation of offers, handling customer quires. -Testing of control logic with SCADA as per P & ID and third party integration (EthernetIP, PROFINET)
