CEO of ADASENS automotive. This new JV between Denso (J) and Ficosa (ES) is established as a new TIER2 for computer vision algorithms for camera based automotive applicaitons within and arround a vehicle.

CEO of ADASENS Automotive GmbH, JV between Omron Automotive (D) and Fico Mirrors SA (ES) in ordert to establish the company as a TIER1 supplier in automotive. The key factors there was the focused market approach on hardware based camera systems e.g. parking and surround view cameras as well as CMS systems and the development and marketing of advanced algorithm for camera based ADAS systems, including a powerful tool chain.

Vice President / General Manager of the Lindau operation. Software development for Omron HDRC imager development such as LDW, OR/VR, Tunnel Detectors, Traffic Sign detections, Video based ACC etc., in 2007 the complete development of the OMRON camera as well as the European OMRON LIDAR activities. The company was established in the automotive market for camera and LIDAR based ADAS systems. Due to international network, cooperation negotiations with German and European TIER1 leads to a JV with Ficosa.

Senior Manager Advanced Development / Strategic Planning for ADC GmbH Lindau included the complete product portfolio of the Continental ADAS activities. I also initiated the automotive camera development incl. advanced algorithm development. Customer series contract within the first 4 month of establishment. The Strategic Planning activities paved the way of the success of the Continental ADAS activities, including the technology and product portfolio.

General Manager of the Swiss subsidiary of the newly formed joint venture ADC. This joint venture combines the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) activities of TEMIC and Leica. Location of the ADC mother company is Lindau. Beside the management of the subsidiary I had to manage the whole ADC system and application department, including the customer support at U.S., Europe and Japan.

Employment at the sales orientated application department at Leica AG Heerbrugg with the objective of transferring the automotive and project know how to a non automotive optics company. After setting up the strategic business unit ATS (Automotive and Transportation Sensors) inside the Leica group the responsibility was enlarged to build up and manage the advanced development department of the ATS unit.

Design Engineer at Daimler Benz research department - Driver Assistance Systems. Scope of work was the development, test and later on the project management of the project AICC - Autonomous Intelligent Cruise Control within the EUREKA project PROMETHEUS.
