Every citizen of the Union shall, in the territory of a third country in which Member State of which he is a national is not represented, be entitled to protection by the diplomatic or consular authorities of any Member State, on the same conditions as the nationals of that State. Member States shall establish the necessary rules among themselves and start the international negotiations required to secure this protection.

Together with an excellent team we worked on leading an explosion of bookings for conferences & civil marriages, particularly from the Asian market. We oversaw the restructuring of the whole entity, including its refurbishment and organisational capacity. I oversaw to ensure the successful turnaround at MCC during recent years due to my experience and expertise in working with a unified team.

Led the diversification of the company from a trading and shipping enterprise to a tourism and conference orientated company.

Led the restructuring of the Federation to bring all the travel agents under one unified association, FATTA.

Segment Groups with the Malta Tourism Authority for a more cohesive collaboration in pushing a unified brand for the various niches that Malta offers.

With the newly setting up of the Malta Tourism Authority in 1999, which was formerly the National Tourism Organisation, I led the authority on various sub committees under the said board on novel initiatives.
