Since the beginning of 2018 I have started expanding my area of knowledge in the JAVA web development field making use of my technical foundation and background that surrounded my work in the past years. In the past months, with a Java hands-on experience focus, I have practiced on simple CRUD web application and am currently partnering up on Git with a Java Engineer experienced friend on a RESTful web service. Main technologies: Java SE, Spring, REST, JPA, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Maven, HTML, CSS.

The 6-month in-class course covered Object-Oriented Programming concepts, Java Core (Java OOP, Collections, Generics, Exceptions, Concurrency etc.), Unit Testing (JUnit), Java Web, JDBC. At the end of the course I was able to develop a simple CRUD application using Java SE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS.

Coordinated the local data processing team within one of the EU Operations divisions in Ipsos and acted as a consultant for the team and clients; I was responsible of communication with peers, solving client's queries; resource planning, team workload balance. Responsibilities: - Lead people by example and drive change - Escalation point for the team (errors, conflicts, unsatisfied clients) - Assigning tasks/ projects - Implementing actions/ decisions - Client consultant

I was mainly responsible of project-based work, client relation, technical support, testing, on the job training for junior positions, specifications review, deliverable product documentation. - Evaluate, classify, process project data according to established procedures and guidelines - Clean, re-code, aggregate, merge, summarize, weight data, generate tables, reports of data - Assure delivery met client's specifications Tech stack: IBM Dimensions, SQL, Excel, internal tools, Quantum, SPSS.

- Managed and supervised the activity of a small data processing team - Designed best practices and documentation to decrease timelines and reduce risk of errors - Implemented standard procedures, best practices and workflows - Managing complex projects - Assigned projects and tasks to data processing executives - Technical support - Organized and participated in meetings with the team and with peers - Interviewing, newcomers’ induction.
