Led inspection engineering activities for a major FPSO development, including the design and implementation of inspection strategies (Philosophy, Strategy, WSE, Baseline Programs). Execute and coordinate Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments per API 580/581, define corrosion loops and piping circuits, and develop inspection plans for topside pressure equipment and structural components. Review and approve NDT procedures, corrosion monitoring techniques, and structural integrity evaluations.

Lead AIM system delivery for major projects from FEED to handover, embedding integrity programs to ensure reliability, compliance, and safety. Oversee RBI, corrosion, IOWs, and inspection readiness across systems. Manage IDMS/CMMS integration, punch list transition, and anomaly tracking. Align with stakeholders to drive startup success. Deliver coaching and training to build asset integrity capability and risk-based thinking in global engineering teams.

Provided technical leadership in pressure systems integrity, mentoring inspection teams and developing strategies, ITPs, and technical docs. Managed cross-discipline interfaces and third-party contractors. Led data handling in ACET, SAP, and IDMS as system superuser. Supported anomaly assessments, TARs, and shutdowns. Oversaw inspection planning, technique selection, and report endorsement. Contributed to InspectionBuild reviews and defined next inspection intervals.

Ensured all work is compliant with client engineering and safety standards and practices. Provided technical leadership and authority in inspection discipline. Responsible for the production and ongoing management of the asset Annual Inspection Plans and client planning process compliance for corrosion monitoring activities. Responsible for inspection and input to Turnaround (TAR) programs.

Lead and coordinate all on-stream inspections and Turnaround activities. Actively participate in the Turnaround planning team for TAR’s. Verify causes of poor quality performance at site and suggest positive ideas to improve the quality system. Develop and employ training strategies for the national trainee program. Direct and implement Quality Management System. Ensure lessons learned are captured in appropriate database and communicated.

Inspection of pressure vessels according to API 510. Inspected piping systems onshore and offshore according to API 570. Inspected above ground storage tanks and carried out fitness-for-purpose assessments for piping systems and pressure vessels.

Executed ultrasonic measurements of piping, pressure vessels and tanks, isometric sketching of existing piping, Ultrasonic shear wave inspection of welds (piping, tanks and vessels), Corrosion related calculations for vessels and piping (remaining life and corrosion rates).

Designed pressure vessels (HP and LP) as per Romanian and International standards. Created PFD’s and P&ID’s as per project scope.
