Took part to the design, architecture and implementation of Iris OS, an embedded, real-time Linux distribution dedicated to the Setup-box market.

Involved in a diversity of Defence NATO’s projects: from aircraft carrier ATC to automated fire control systems to radar decoding for C2/C3. Often working abroad, in difficult environment with limited tools, like military bases (CARS and DARS) across Europe.

Stepped into a highly complex defence project, using embedded HW and COTS components, often out of production, with obsolete technologies. This helped developing a “can do” attitude, finding creative and innovative solutions to very specific (and painful...) problems.

Started his career being involved in a low latency network protocol analyzer for SS7 and internet traffic, for police state agency.
