Within this position, I was responsible for all aspects of finance and payroll for this family owned college turning over $10m+, encompassing five companies, two campuses, student accommodation and a not-for-profit foundation. I also acted as the ex-officio Company Secretary.

I was accountable for finance, HR, administrative and IT systems for this not for profit association turning over $5m, providing advice and service throughout the state from five locations. I regularly reported to management, the board and its committees, as well as the state government and other stakeholders. Also, I initiated a review and consolidation of key company supplier contractors, leading to the re-negotiation of one property lease to achieve impressive savings of 20%.

I was instrumental in combining the operations of three entities and establishing a central corporate services unit due to growth of this largely Government funded, $12-14 million turnover company providing grants and loans to the film sector. Duties included evaluating all applications for financial incentives/grants from industry and ensuring successful applications meet all contractual obligations and undertaking a highly responsible Company Secretary role for the board.
