Worked with the development of custom-made robots. Selection of mechanical components, mechanical design (SolidWorks), mechanical resistance calculations and mechanical simulations using the Finite Elements Method (ANSYS software). Machining-oriented design of components;

Researched the manufacturing of carbon fiber and epoxy pressure vessels using the filament winding process. Programmed a six-axis robot for this process and used ABAQUS to estimate the vessel’s resistance. Supervised stress-strain tests on composite samples. Designed a mold for plastic injection;

Worked with CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines. Made drawings of the products in AutoCAD and fed them to the CNC machines. Worked mainly with steel sheets:

A five-year mechanical engineering course, which approaches three main subjects: solid mechanics, projects development and heat transport phenomena, having chosen an emphasis in the field of projects. Has experience mainly with finite elements simulations, automation processes and metrology.
