Different stress concentration factors and different microstructures of the Ni-based superalloy are studied to identify the most stress concentration sensitive Microstructure. Outline of Activities: Finite Element(FE) Simulations in ABAQUS/CAE, Design of Specimens (CATIA V5) , Preparation of designed specimens, Creep tests, Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM), Heat treatments.
