DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATED ICE-CREAM SLICING AND CUP HANDLING MECHANISM USING PLC and signal conditioning elements. The objective of this project was to innovate a system reducing the human effort ensuring precision and hygiene. The project involved two major parts. 1) Creating a slicing mechanism that could ensure even slices of the Ice cream. 2) Creating an effective cup dispensing mechanism to carry the cut slices to fulfill the ever-increasing demand of the customers.
