Design and evaluation of failover strategies in industrial software defined networks + Formulating a failover strategy which allows multiple active paths between two endpoints. + Developing an SDN application based on the above-mentioned failover strategy. + Building a hardware prototype for the SDN application.

+ Building a demonstrator for industry 4.0 networking platform. + Configuration and installation of various networking components. + Evaluation of various SDN-controllers and virtual switches for various use cases and configuration scenarios
