Development of three iOS apps for different clients. I was able to offer fast turn arounds on apps with frequently changing requirements. I have maintained three specific apps over several years and as a one off project I also developed a mobile game.

Development of mobile and web applications and administration of web servers. During this position I shipped a number of digital comic and retail based iOS applications, including an app that made it to #3 on the free apps list and remained #1 in the books category for months. I developed the app code and Python backend services for all apps.

Management of a team of IT support personnel. The team I managed performed installation of PCs and services running MacOS, Linux and Windows operating systems. My role also included server development.

Assisting users with problems related to graphical design and office applications running on Mac and Windows platforms. Installation of desktop machines.

My research is focussed on the development of a new algorithm to more efficiently compute triangular bases of local number fields and function fields. This objective was completed with a very efficient algorithm. My thesis defence is scheduled for the 11th of December.

The course focussed on the design of mobile and web applications. My masters thesis focussed on the redesign and redevelopment of a popular culture news site in order to increase its traffic from the 20,000 visitors it received a week at the time.

I specialised in modelling complex social systems. As part of my masters thesis I developed a programme that simulates the activity in a hospital emergency department.
