After completing my full-time studies and entering the working world straight away, I decided to take a break and seize the opportunity to do a work & travel programme in Japan. In the summer, I volunteered and lived with a Japanese family in Aso-Kuju National Park, for a few weeks, looking after the children and doing farm work. During Ski-season I worked as a barista in Hokkaido. Since I had always worked a lot as a student as well, I wanted to make effective use of the time I had between changing jobs.

• Acting as a liaison between technical departments, clients and international branches • Strategic market development: designing and initial implementation of a market entry strategy for LNG import terminals • Planning and managing sales activities: coordinating a monthly sales funnel involving 30 to 40 projects • Project support for major LNG projects with a volume of up to €2 million • Close collaboration with project managers and stakeholders to ensure implementation meets deadlines and requirements

Rotating in the coorporate lead function: International Projects(IP). IP consists of the following four departments: • IP Sales Europe, GS & Africa • IP Technical Project Management • IP International Account Management • IP Contracting During that time, I achieved deep technical knowledge about sealing solutions, and rotating equipment.

• Conception and optimization of a reactor design for CO2 capture by using the calcium looping cycle • Procurement and assembly of required elements to build the reactor • Assembly of the reactor • Calibration and installation of software for control and measurement elements (e.g. CO2 sensor, mass flow controller, heating elements etc.) • Define and perform different test series • Perform tests to determine the efficiency of the system • Analyze and evaluate the results

• Project support for the customer Liebherr tower cranes (Development of a solution to represent the mechanism of a tower crane with Creo Mechanism Design; Development of a solution to create a pulley drive with Creo Parametric) • Investigation of the possible applications of Creo Cabling in variant production • Working with several PTC softwares for different customers for best practice CAD solutions as well as insights into IoT.

• Contributing to research and development in the following areas: IoT, Industry 4.0 and AI • Tutor for the subject Technische Darstellung (technical drawing) and Produktentwurf (product design) at the instute of product engineering
