To design, test and verify the behaviour of wireless communication protocols using SDL and to prepare a tutorial on SDL for the Mobile Systems group within the Networked and Embedded Systems at Alpen - Adria University of Klagenfurt. All the projects are simulated and Message Sequence Charts (MSC) is generated. Finally all the projects are tested and verified using the Explorer feature of IBM Rational SDL Suite.

Title - Applying SDL for Communication Systems Development. To design the behavior of CoRe-MAC protocol. CoRe-MAC is an extension to standard CSMA/CA which use relays to transfer the data packet to the destination node. The performance of the protocol is increased when compared with standard CSMA/CA in terms of throughput. Designed protocol was tested against MSC.
