Successfully signed three major international mandates in first 6 months, despite Greenhill being little known in Europe outside the UK at the time

Managing successful team of up to 10 people based in London and Frankfurt as part of a fully integrated global chemicals effort which resulted in Deutsche Bank being top 3 rated in global chemical M&A league tables on a regular basis. Very strong relationships with all the major financial sponsors active in the chemical industry on both the advisory and financing sides, including US houses with interest in Europe

Building newly formed chemicals/ pharma group in London Establishing client and business priorities and budget setting resulting in broadening the business base and targeting and winning new clients Integration of team with Bankers Trust in 1999, resulting in separation of chemicals and healthcare and retaining position as Head of European Chemicals
