My role in the Safety & Security Division of ENAIRE was to provide safety assurance on changes within CNS/ATM systems, by applying SAM Methodology developed by Eurocontrol, through the elaboration of FHA, PSSA, SSA assessments. These documents cover not only hazards identification, severity class assignation and safety requirements designation but also SWAL allocation. Apart from my daily duties, I also represented the ENAIRE’s Safety Division on different SESAR Projects (WP16.06.01, PJ19, PJ24).

As a part of the Airport Operations Division in Palma de Mallorca Airport, my role was to be the coordinator of a team created for the implementation and supervision of SMS of Handling Companies according to Spanish regulations developed by the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency. Among others, my duties were: Revision and auditing of Handlings’ SMS previous to the Airport acceptance, Auditing and supervision of SMS implementation, Supervision of minimum standards compliance

Safety Engineer in the Palma de Mallorca Airport Safety Department, as coordinator of a team created for the maintenance of the Safety Management System (SMS). Amongst others the duties were: risk analysis, accident/incident investigation, updating of procedures, airport certification.

Internship as a CBT technical author for Light & Medium Aircrafts: C-235 and C-295, writing and/or updating the Computer Based Training manuals and courses for maintenance and piloting
