The second part of my PhD program is devoted to build and test different experimental setups to investigate particulate flows. At Ruhr university, I also developed a framework to do optical measurements in suspension flows based on Astigmatism Particle Tracking Velocimetry (APTV).

I performed Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) to investigate laminar and turbulent duct flows laden with finite-size particles. The results of these studies are published in the most prestigious academic journals such as Journal of Fluid Mechanics. At KTH, I also had the privilege of successfully passing relevant courses such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Turbulence and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) with prominent and well known professors in the field of fluid mechanics.

• Working as a researcher in department of Research and Development (R&D) of the company. • Load calculations, equipment selection • Installation of air conditioning equipment • Coach and train less experienced staff , resolving technical difficulties • Cost estimation and scheduling the projects, continually interact with the client during the project development.

I have trained in Petrochemical Industrial Design Engineering Company (PIDEC) in Shiraz for three months in summer 2008. PIDEC is a leading engineering design and consulting company in oil, gas and petrochemical industries in Iran. I was in the Piping Department which was in relationship with designing of pipeline, turbines, turbojets, cranes, and compressors and so on. First, I became familiar with fundamental information and then I worked under the supervision of the trainer on their plans.
